ArchLord payment system explained

Codemasters has announced their official payment method they've called both "innovative" and "revolutionary"... innovative is one thing, but revolutionary... well, we've seen a Revolution turn into a Wii before, which left us with some teenagers pretending they're surfing in their living room. (I hope the photo I saw is still there when you read this, or that statement will not make much sense at all.)

Orc ArcherOrc ArcherAaanyway, back to Codemasters and their upcoming game ArchLord. Their payment system is a multi-tiered experiment, where you get more of what you pay for and you can decide to pay as little as $9.99US (or €9.99 / £6.99, depending on which you prefer). Paying these fees gets you game time like usual, but additionally you will get in-game bonus "credits" for your account. "Credits will be redeemable against bonus in-game items and benefits, such as teleportation spells, health boosts and many other desirable enhancements," says their press release. Until the game gets going, it's hard to know how much value there is in the amount of credits doled out with your subscription, but the numbers look fairly large, especially if you choose to buy up to the larger time periods... oh, I'm going to just send you to their explanation of the PlayPLUS system .

That's all I have to say about that.
